About Me

I was born and raised in Castlemaine. I live in a mud-brick house in an eco-village with my husband of 25 years and our twin boys. Amongst other things, I have been a governess, a home care attendant, a bacon taster, and the administrator of the Australian Psychological Society Interest Group, Psychologists for Peace. My pronouns are she / her.

I work mainly in the Castlemaine / Daylesford / Bendigo / Ballarat / Macedon Ranges areas but I'm happy to go further afield.

I was appointed as an authorised marriage celebrant by the Attorney-General's Department in 2009. I am a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants, am professionally trained, and complete annual professional development.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Cert IV in Professional Writing & Editing, and on a very part-time basis I am studying for a Bachelor of Geoscience at Federation University. When I'm not writing or performing a ceremony, you might find me out camping, spotting dinosaur footprints in the Otways, or flying a kite with the kids.
